Bulgarian AF Bell 206B3 JetRanger

Between July and September 1999 the BVVS took delivery of six Bell 206B3 helicopters. These are being used for a number of tasks including training, liaison and observation. The type partially replaces the grounded Mi-2 Hoplite fleet of the BVVS. One pair has been fitted out for MedEvac missions and can easily be identified by their high skids. The JetRangers of the BVVS are fully NATO-compatible and serve with 24 VAB at the airbase of Krumovo near Plovdiv.
