MiG-23MLA
During 1983 eight MiG-23MLA Floggers were delivered to the 18 IAP at Dobroslavtsi. The MLA, an improved version of the MiG-23ML, is able to carry the R24 BVR-missile. Two examples were lost in a mid-air collision on 07 July, 1985 killing one of the pilots. The six remaining MLAs were withdrawn from use a short while ago. Two of them already reside in a museum.
